OptoReflex ("the app") is a clinical-examination and educational support tool. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with data.
None. OptoReflex does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics and no third-party tracking. The app works entirely on your device.
With your permission, the app uses the device camera to display and optionally record the eye-movement and pupil tests. Camera frames are processed on the device only. Any videos you choose to record are stored locally on your device (in the app's storage / the Files app) and are never uploaded by the app. You can review, share or delete them at any time; sharing is initiated only by you, through the iOS share sheet.
If you type a patient name to label a recording, that text is stored only on your device as part of the local video. The app does not send it anywhere. You are responsible for handling any patient information in accordance with applicable laws and your institution's policies.
The app is intended for use by health professionals and is not directed at children.
